Set of 4 Maple leaf SUPER Macaron hop-up rubber for AEG 60°, 70°, 75°, 80° + 4 tensioner

Maple Leaf Super Macaron is a special developed bucking to be used in your AEG or SRS replica. This bucking is designed to adapt the maple leaf crazy jet barrels, which are considered VSR/GBB cut barrels, to be used in AEG hop-up systems.  While AEG buckings typically require "windowed" or "bridged" barrels, the Maple Leaf Super Macaron series slide onto "open cut/bridgeless" barrels just as a VSR style bucking would, but with the appropriate outer diameter to accommodate AEG Hop-up chambers.  The bucking is best used in conjunction with the Omega Hop-up Tensioner , and Crazy Jet Barrel to really maximize your range and rein in that left and right shot deviation!


This bucking will fit bridged as well as bridgeless barrels, so be sure that your hop up chamber is designed for AEG buckings before ordering, as most GBB/VSR guns are designed for the thicker GBB/VSR buckings.

The degrees of the hop-up buckings mark their compatibility with guns of different muzzle energies or power levels. In general, you could say: the more powerful the gun, the higher the degree. The manufacturer recommends choosing the degree of your bucking as follows:

  • 50 : Less than 110 m/s (1.2 J)
  • 60 : 90-120 m/s (0.8-1.5 J)
  • 70 : 110-140 m/s (1.2-2 J)

The compatibility of the bucking

The Maple Leaf Macaron hop-up bucking is compatible with electric guns made with Tokyo Marui standards. Note, however, that the nub of the bucking is shaped a bit different, which means that the hop-up window of the inner barrel should be at least the size of the nub, which is around 4 mm or longer.

J’ai entendu beaucoup de bien des joints Maple Leaf et j’ai ainsi testé le Macaron et le Super Macaron, dont je vais parler ici. J’ai été hyper déçu à la première utilisation du Super sur mon AK-105 car pas une seule bille n’arrivait à passer. Après deux essais, j’ai laissé tomber et j’ai rangé le Super dans une pochette.Quelques temps plus tard j’ai fait l’acquisition d’une AK-74 et je me suis mis immédiatement à la bricoler! J’ai d’abord mis le Macaron, mais là, échec. Une bille sur 4 ne sortait pas. Avec un soupir agacé je me suis remis à bricoler, et j’ai alors décidé de tester le Super. Après l’avoir mis, j’ai effectué un petit test en faisant tomber une bille dans le puit de chargement du hop-up, et quelle ne fut pas mon exaspération lorsque ladite bille restait coincée par les lèvres du joint. Mais au lieu d’abandonner, mes yeux se sont posés sur l’ancienne chambre hop-up de mon AK-105, que j’avais remplacé par un modèle de chez Combat Union.J’ai fait le test de la bille qui tombe et là, miracle! Elle tombe sans souci. Vient alors le test de tir: pas un seul bourrage, consistance nickelle et bonne précision. Comme quoi...

Conception pas adapté pour de l'Aeg
Je m'explique, je posséde un Par Mk3 de chez ICS avec un bloc hop-Up Maxx Model (Hop-Up à 0). Le problème c'est que lors de tire la réplique fait un bruit de bourrage et les billes reste coincé. Celà est dù au niveau du joint à l'entré de la bille, Maple leaf certainnement pour bien faire on créé une épaisseur qui épouse parfaitement le contour de la bouche du nozzle pour une meilleur étanchéité (on peut voir cette partie sur une des photos du joint qu'a mise Powair6), cepandant pour que la bille traverse cette partie il faut appliquer une force assez conséquente, hors le ressort de rappel du Tape Plate n'a pas le force suffisante pour pousser la bille (à moin que le votre soit trés dur). Les Joueurs de HPA ne devrait donc pas avoir ce soucis vu que leur nozzle s'active avec la pression de l'air de la bouteille. J'ai essayé avec le bloc Hop-Up d'origine et j'ai le même problème. J'ai donc remis mon ancien joint Hop-Up qui est la version précédente de ce joint (Version Macaron) et je n'est plus de problème de Tire donc attention, je conseille plus ce joint pour des systémes Hpa que AEG.

Works but need some teflon to get a good airseal
So I went all in on this, and got the orga flathop nub (as recormeded on this site) together with a CJ 220mm barrel, and installed it in my evo. The rubber seems a bit small in the hopup chamber of the evo, and it move around pretty easily, same goes for the barrel. Tested it out, and I lost 0.5J, shooting 1J instead of stock setup 1.5J. After that I used some teflontape on the end of the rubber where it connects to the barrel, and got it up to 1.4j. I still had problems with rubber and barrel have some movement to it, like the hopup chamber was too big for the rubber. Third try, and I applied teflon to the rubber itself, to get a better fit between the chamber and the rubber. This time, it seemed to work as it should, getting me 1.6J. I changed the nub from orga flatnub to the maple leaf concave nub, since the flat nub was to much hop for 0.28 on 0 hopup. The maple leaf nub, also needs to be at 0 hopup but it works.So yeah, for a good airseal in a evo hopup chamber you do need to apply some teflon, and it takes some times to get it just right.
