The Tokyo Marui URGI MK16 MWS GBBR Airsoft rifle is made by Tokyo Marui themselves, arguably a bit late to the game when companies like Guns Modify already has not one, but a few URGI airsoft rifles using the MWS gas system originated by Tokyo Marui as well. But that didn't stop Tokyo Marui, and after the release of the MWS ZET M4 gas airsoft rifles, This system managed to become one of the top-tier choices for gas airsoft M4 / AR-15 builds and even made a few other gas systems obsolete. 

So with this in mind, although the Tokyo Marui MK16 URGI MWS gas airsoft rifle may seem late to the game, it did not lose out to its competitors. Being made by Tokyo Marui themselves, you know you would be purchasing quality from one of the best and oldest airsoft manufacturers. Their built quality and quality control are still regarded as the best in the industry and this can be seen with their earlier releases of the MK18 MOD 1 rifle and the regular M4 carbines. Speaking of build quality, the receiver of this MK16 URGI is like the other Tokyo Marui MWS rifles, it came Cerakoted right from the factory, making it more resistant to scratches and bumps. 

Other than having a Cerakote-finished receiver, the Tokyo Marui MK16 URGI gas airsoft rifle comes with the iconic MK16 URG-I handguard that has M-Lok and a top monolithic Picatinny rails for accessories, a URG-I style charging handle and flip-up, adjustable iron sights. and an adjustable stock that has a friction lock system. This handguard, charging handle, and stock are in tan color, giving this airsoft rifle a nice 2 tone to it. Tokyo Mauri is a company known for attention to detail, unlike other M4 MWS models, this comes with a 4-prong flash hider making it stand out from the plethora of Tokyo Marui ZET system M4s. The fit and finish of the gun is what you have come to expect from Tokyo Marui, everything is solid. The power advertised for gas replicas can be highly variable because the cooling of the tank linked to rapid fire, pressure / type of gas used and winter conditions, it is possible to empty all the gas quickly from a magazine, and if there is not enough time given to convert the liquid part into gas, the liquid form then rises through the nozzle as a white cloud. Be sure to use your equipment on suitable climatic conditions and adapt your rate of fire to the ambient temperature to avoid that effect. We recommend that you always choose the manufacturer's brand spare magazines. Choosing a different brand may generate a different power from the original as the percussion valve and magazine lips are not the same.

Tokyo Marui Co. Ltd is an airsoft gun and toy cars manufacturer located in Adachi, Tokyo, Japan that produced the AEG. The guns are principally sold in Japan, but are also sold worldwide. They were the first company to produce airsoft guns powered solely by electric-motor driven air compressors, which they called "Automatic Electric Gun" (AEG) in 1992. This compact air compressing system was implemented in their first battery-powered automatic firing replica, the FAMAS F1. Other airsoft guns were then introduced. The AEG system is still in use, and has been copied numerous times through the years by many other airsoft gun manufacturers. Marui is among others the inventor of the AEG and the Hop-Up system.
