APX pistol was introduced early in 2015 at the IDEX-2015 exhibition. Apparently it is intended to compete for a future service pistol (Modular Handgun System) with US military, which wants to replace its ageing M9 (Beretta 92FS) pistols with more modern, modular and multi-caliber design. As of moment of this writing (March, 2015) Beretta APX pistol was still in prototype form, and not yet in production.

The APX pistol is a modular service-type handgun with polymer frame and removable grip panels available in different sizes. It uses Browning-type short recoil action with tilting barrel, and a striker-fired trigger system. In basic configuration, APX pistol has no manual safeties; automated trigger safety and an ambidextrous manual safety levers are optional. Special firing pin disconnector is provided to safely disassemble the gun without ever touching the trigger. Beretta APX pistol features three-dot fixed sights and a MIL-STD 1913 (Picatinny) accessory rail below the barrel.

For those who never heard of Umarex, they are known to make realistic and high performing airsoft guns in the airsoft market. The gas blowback technology is more than just reliable and crisp, the cycle is tighter than a drum with each shot gliding down the same line as the one before.

Holding this in your hand just feels so comfortable, the modifications you can make are very simple. The hop up can be adjusted like every other airsoft gun which is very simple to do. It includes a bottom rail that can be used to attach tactical accessories. Once you made your adjustments in, it's very accurate and incredibly stable. With a 15 BB capacity, this system continues the trend for realism opting for a real capacity emulation instead of sneaking up to 50 or more pellets. Please note this uses a CO2 gas system and does not support green gas, so you will need to stock up on CO2 capsules. The CO2 capsule is stored into the rear of the pistol grip which can be easily removed by sliding it out.

Gas replica power

The power of gas replicas is a point of reference only, it does not constitute a guarantee of results but an estimation made by the manufacturer. Please take this information into account before purchasing, no warranty service regarding the power can be applied. The power advertised for gas replicas can be highly variable because the cooling of the tank linked to rapid fire, pressure / type of gas used and winter conditions, it is possible to empty all the gas quickly from a magazine, and if there is not enough time given to convert the liquid part into gas, the liquid form then rises through the nozzle as a white cloud. Be sure to use your equipment on suitable climatic conditions and adapt your rate of fire to the ambient temperature to avoid that effect. We recommend that you always choose the manufacturer's brand spare magazines. Choosing a different brand may generate a different power from the original as the percussion valve and magazine lips are not the same.
