The CM.057B is another precision rifle from the SVD line fromthe well know Chinese Cyma manufacturer. The production of the SVD begins in the 60s in the Soviet Union, at this time this semi-automatic sniper rifle was designed to be used in the precision military shooting, for this purpose it had a stock, grip, and wooden handguard. The Soviet Union doesn't exist anymore and the operator requested some new modifications and improvements, to meet the needs of new battlefields

In the beginning, some modifications have been made, a version of the Dragunov with folding stock was already launched in the 90s, the SVDS or which was dedicated to Russian paratroopers, with an independent pistol grip to the stock. But constant modification has been made, the folding stock has been replaced by a telescopic one, which uses a buffer tube from AR15 and gives the possibility to mount a Crane stock. This allows us to configure the length of the stock to the need of the user, change the stock to another that can meet the characteristics that are more favorable to us, and most importantly, carry the [battery] in the stock instead of in the hand guard. This construction gives more space, an easy installation, and in variety of batteries that you can use.

The CM.057B is equipped with an M-LOK handguard which gives the possibility to mount different accessories. On the top of the handguard and on the upper is installed a 22mm Picatinny rail system, it offers the possibility to mount , but on the left side you can find a traditional rail for dedicated.
