Description

RAID, or the Rifle Area Illumination Device, is a new rifle flashlight designed and manufactured by Holosun to cover all tactical, recreational, and sports applications required by a robust yet lightweight flashlight.
The product housing is precisely machined from aerospace grade 7075-T6 aluminum alloy for unparalleled durability and reliability during everyday use. RAID weighs only 183 g and measures 135 x 35 mm, making its dimensions optimal for rifle use. It is also IP68 compliant, making it dust, splash, and waterproof, withstanding shocks of up to 1000 g.

The LED emitter generates 1000 lm and 80000 cd using the 18650 battery. While the lumen number is standard for taclights of that class, the candelas are well above average across equivalents available on the market. This translates directly to a more focused and potent beam that effortlessly illuminates targets or areas of interest. The unique construction of the lens improves the light transmission and focus in the center of the beam. It also provides an improved outer ring of the ray.

RAID is powered by a single 18650 battery or two CR123A batteries in a water-tight compartment. It also features rubberized tail controls with a gel press button that enables momentary or constant operation.

The set includes an M-LOK and Picatinny rail adapter mount, gel press button, user manual, and installation kit.
