It is made from thicker spring wire (0.1mm) that has undergone proper heat treatment, allowing it to extract heavier pellets with greater force-velocity. Likewise, if you have a high-rate weapon, a regular push-action magazine may have a problem feeding pellets in a timely manner. This spring solves this problem. With a thicker spring, magazine capacity is reduced proportionally. For example, a 70-round magazine can hold about 60 pellets with this thicker spring.
