A new generation of assault rifles has been added to the German military’s arsenal with the Bundeswehr’s transition from the G36 to the HK G95 in 2025. The short-barreled G95K version was developed for special forces such as the Bundeswehr’s KSK and optimally meets the specific operational requirements of these highly skilled elite units.
Equipped with ambidextrous controls, an ergonomic telescoping stock, a handguard with fixed Picatinny rails at 12 o’clock and 6 o’clock, as well as removable side rails (mounted with HKey), the G95K offers exceptional compatibility for mounting various accessories.
It features a split gearbox, a programmable electronic trigger, an adjustable hop-up system, and a 14mm CCW thread. Its variable-capacity mid-cap magazine can be configured from 30 to 120 BBs. A folding, adjustable rear sight with a 45° offset completes the G95K.
