The N8 WIDE CUT HYBRID 6.05 is a brass barrel designed around three key features: machining quality, internal finish, and Hop-Up window geometry.
The 6.05 mm diameter was chosen for its versatility and its ability to perform effectively across a wide variety of setups.
Brass offers excellent machining quality while remaining affordable. It also has the advantage of being able to be re-polished, allowing it to maintain an excellent internal finish for years. The barrel is passivated to protect its surface.
WIDE CUT :
Its wide-open Hop-Up window is designed to take full advantage of seals with a large contact area:
- Begadi MAG5
- Maple Leaf MR
- Flamingo
- Other R-Hop-type seals
A barrel is not a magic part: its primary purpose is to provide the Hop-Up seal with the right conditions to operate at 100% of its potential, without being limited by a window that is too narrow.

Note: From a technical standpoint, the N8 barrel features VSR/GBBR notches; it is fully hybrid and can be used on GBBR/VSR models with seals that do not require an open window, such as the 4uad Quantum GBBR.
P.S.: The window's Wide Cut design requires careful sealing with certain gaskets; we strongly recommend applying Teflon tape to the gasket/barrel joint before inserting it into the hop-up block.
