The ideal accessory for shooting practice, the MANTIS X10 is a smart electronic system that attaches to your replica and connects to an app that lets you analyze your shooting on your smartphone or tablet. The X10 version offers more analysis than the X version, such as: Study of holster draw, recoil!
How does it work?
- Connect Mantis X10 to the accessory rail. It works just as well with live ammunition as it does with dry firing, on a CO² weapon or even on an airsoft gun.
- Install the smartphone app, turn on MantisX and connect the device to a phone via Bluetooth (BLE or Bluetooth 4.0).
- Evaluate shooting performance, identify areas for improvement, and track progress in real time and over time.
How does the app display data?
- Magnitude and direction: track the movement of your handgun's barrel during the trigger pull. Shots are grouped according to similarity in movement patterns.
- Shot analysis: track the score for each shot individually. Analyze trends.
- Movement details: blue: hold/observation. Yellow: shot. Red: shot and recoil pattern.
App feedback
- Score: Each shot is scored based on how close you are to your aiming position when you pull the trigger. The perfect score is 100.
- Direction: Mantis X10 detects the direction of the barrel's movement when you pull the trigger. If you tend to shoot to the left, the left sector will light up on the wheel. After a few shots, the training device shows your movement pattern.
- Suggestion: by analyzing an individual shot or a group of shots, Mantis X10 offers suggestions that could improve your shooting mechanics. The app then offers advice on how to focus your efforts during the next round of shooting.
