Machined from a single block of 6061 aluminum to form a one-piece body, the MAGNUS PRO MCX incorporates our proven three-lug self-centering design and a genuine TDC (Top Dead Center) adjustment mechanism.
In addition to enhanced precision and consistency, the hop-up unit features optimized cycling geometry. During operation, it interfaces with the bolt carrier rather than the cylinder head (nozzle), thereby preventing damage to the latter caused by repeated impacts.
Since the APFG MCX uses the hop-up unit as part of the barrel mounting interface, the MAGNUS PRO MCX also boosts overall structural rigidity thanks to its robust, precision-engineered design. The adjustment dial is easily accessible through the handguard openings, allowing for smooth, incremental adjustments on the fly—without the need for disassembly or special tools.

- APFG MCX GBB series (Rattler, Legacy, SPEAR LT, Rattler LT, RSAR, SURG, and MCX HUNTER models).
- BPW MCX GBB series (equipped with the APFG MCX GBB system).
Incompatible models:
- APFG XM7 (SPEAR) GBB
- APFG MPX GBB series
- MCX GBB replicas from other airsoft brands (compatible only with APFG).
- GBB airsoft replicas other than the MCX model.
- Inner barrels (including precision barrels) designed to Japanese specifications may not be compatible or may require modification prior to installation due to design and machining differences (such as notch placement). This specifically includes barrels from brands such as PDI, KM, and Laylax.
