The MAWL® range of laser/illuminator devices (visible light/infrared) stands out for its exceptional ergonomics, designed to make it easy to use in high-pressure situations, in the dark or whilst wearing gloves; it is also modular, allowing it to be configured to suit both right-handed and left-handed shooters.
The officially licensed PTS MAWL-PTS is a fully operational, multifunctional laser designation and illumination device. The MAWL-PTS’s functions are organised into three modes: ‘OFF’ (off), visible mode (VIS) and infrared mode (IR). These modes are further subdivided into three sub-modes — short, medium and long range — each offering two distinct functions.
The device can emit a visible laser beam* in VIS mode and, in IR mode, an invisible 850 nm infrared (IR) illumination beam, an 850 nm IR aiming beam, or both simultaneously, with variable power settings suited to different distances. The aiming beams and the illumination beam are adjustable for azimuth and elevation, and are aligned with one another.
The MAWL-PTS kit includes the following additional accessories, designed to enhance its functionality and versatility:
- PTS Unity Tactical AXON™ – Enables control of two devices, allowing the user to manage both lights and lasers via a single, compact and intuitive switch.
- Multitasker Nano – A one-piece tool designed for adjusting optics.
