A reinforced piston for your sniper rifle. For maximum performance and durability. The hybrid piston is made of three different materials:
- aluminum body of maximum lightness.
- polyacetal (POM) ring for good sliding in the cylinder.
- stainless steel piston support.
Compared to the previous version, the piston has been completely redesigned. The toe rubber has been modified and widened for greater durability. The front holes come out from under the gasket and widen it, providing a better seal. The impact of the piston during firing is thus distributed over a larger surface area and exerts less stress on the piston and the cylinder head. The groove under the gasket is shallower and modified in shape, reducing the risk of deformation of the cylinder head following an impact. This generation also placed emphasis on piston performance. The stainless steel bracket is shorter, better seated in the piston body and the piston is lighter, resulting in a 25% weight reduction compared to the previous generation. And less weight means more power.
FEATURES AND SPECIFICATIONS:
- The piston body is manufactured by precision CNC machining from a lightweight but highly durable 6061-T6 (Dural) aluminum alloy, with a high quality anodized finish
- The piston support is made of stainless steel with a high quality finish
- The piston head is anti-pressure with a sealing O-ring (the O-ring expands when fired and ensures a better seal)
- The enlarged inside diameter of the piston allows (and we recommend) the insertion of a thicker 9mm leveling spring
